What does entrepreneurship mean to you:
Russel Hlongwane is a cultural producer and creative industries consultant based in Durban, South Africa. His work is set between producing cultural content and operating as a consultant in aspects of the creative economy. He works in different capacities with organisations, collectives and projects. His work stretches across various disciplines in the creative economy from advocacy, strategies for cultural organizations and creative entrepreneurs whilst also interested in innovative financial sustainability models for NGO’s operating in the cultural sector. He is in his second tenure of presidency at the KZNSA Gallery and is board member of a number of NGO’s. Hlongwane is also a member of the Creative Producers International, a project run by Watershed, Pervasive Media in Bristol.
