What does entrepreneurship mean to you:
Thinking and acting differently to solve problems
Trevor McConnell is a business management graduate who majored in entrepreneurial studies and
strategy at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He is passionate about all things entrepreneurial,
from coaching start-ups, to consulting for larger companies, to speaking at conferences, to using
entrepreneurial methodologies for his personal life.
He founded (and sold) an incubator for food related start ups and had a successful freelancing career
while running his incubator. His clients included the Government of Ontario, CIBC Mellon, The Science
Discovery Zone, and Ryerson University. Trevor was also invited to speak at the Ted Rogers School of
Hospitality and Tourism Management Conference on the topic of service design.
Since then, Trevor has left his life in Canada to explore a more entrepreneurial Europe at the Strascheg
Center for Entrepreneurship where he is now a project manager working on international projects
including Coneeect U.
Trevor is passionate about learning more about entrepreneurship and to share what he has learned with
both aspiring young entrepreneurs and institutions.
